About us

Established in 2024, EACL brings together regulatory consultants, contract research organisations (CROs), testing laboratories, scientific experts, and other professionals engaged in the European regulatory landscape.

Our community provides a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, professional development, and constructive dialogue with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

Objectives

The Association has the following objectives

to represent the collective interests of the Members principally in scientific and regulatory matters managed by Safety Authorities in Europe

to encourage discussion between members and analysis of the impact of legislation, or changes thereof, on their operations

to develop and maintain coordination with other relevant organisations and stakeholders.

to interact with the Safety Authorities including the EFSA, ECHA, and EMA

Partnerships

EACL works closely with regulatory authorities, EU safety agencies, policymakers and stakeholder organisations to promote constructive dialogue and science-based decision-making. Through engagement with EFSA, ECHA, European Commission forums involving DG SANTE, DG ENVI and DG GROW, and international networks such as Business at OECD (BIAC), EACL helps represent the interests and expertise of its members in regulatory discussions that shape the European landscape.
